I'm not going to go too in-depth about this, since the NFL free agency market is buzzing constantly and the "Marbury to Boston" story has been around a couple of days now...Mitch Lawrence of the NYDN is reporting that Marbury officially signed a veteran's exception contract with the Boston Celtics earlier today, and will make a pro-rated $400,000. Steph is in Boston now, and may suit up for the Celtics game against the Pacers.
"It could be a good move and you hope it doesn't blow up in their face," said Reggie Miller, an analyst for Turner Broadcasting. "Let's face it, every place he's played, he's been a disruption in the locker room. As we know, the Celtics have a very strong locker room because of the Big Three (Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen)."
