On the train ride into the City this morning I was thinking of new features to add to the blog, other then just vent sessions. I'm hoping to expand on all that this site has to offer over the next several weeks, and I think a perfect way to start off is by adding a sports bet of the day.
This new segment will tap into one of my favorite hobbies; sports handicapping. I used to run a website called YourSportsLock.com. It was a site where I posted several sports picks throughout the week, completely free of charge. While I obviously wasn't able to win every pick that I made, my track record of posting solid "bets" was pretty good. Unfortunately, the Lock has faded over the last few months, and so I hope to revive its memory and purpose here on the Vent with a free sports betting pick each and every day.
Now I can't guarentee my picks, but what I can guarentee is that extensive research is done toward providing the best and most educated guess possible. As a disclaimer, please bet at your own risk! This new segment will be posted for entertainment purposes only, and I will not be held responsible for any losses. My ultimate goal is to provide some good, sound advice and have a fun time with it. On top of that, I'd love for everyone to comment on the bet of the day with their picks!
The bet of the day will be posted in the late afternoon when all of the spreads are finalized.
