Tonight I'm staying away from college basketball (too many close calls) and looking at the NBA matchups instead. I like the Miami Heat at home giving the Detroit Pistons 4 points.
Both of these squads are jocking for position in the Eastern playoff picture, but Detroit has finally fallen off a bit this year. Taking Miami was a tough call because this should be a close game, but Dwayne Wade can go off at any minute, and the smarter play here is betting on him.
Can you really put money against a star playing in front of his fans? Another big night from Wade and the Heat should beat Detroit comfortably on their home court.
Prediction: 106-98 Miami
