The Giants signed defensive lineman Chris Canty to a 6-year, $42 million dollar contract on Sunday afternoon. The deal includes about $17m in guaranteed money.Current Giants DT Fred Robbins is at risk of being released after the Canty signing.
The Giants also signed linebacker Michael Boley, and turned down Derrick Ward's offer of a $3m/year contract to sign in New York. It seems the market for Ward is far less expansive than first expected.
