Great news for Mets fans this afternoon.Johan Santana was due to fly back to New York from spring training to get an MRI on his sore elbow as of a couple days ago. However, Santana canceled his visit on Sunday after throwing a morning bullpen session and feeling fine afterward.
Santana was reported to be at risk of missing Opening Day but seems to be back on track.
