This move happened quickly, and without much rumor or hype. Buffalo has been interested in a wide receiver for the last couple of weeks, and at first it was expected they could sign now-Bengals wideout Lavernaues Coles.
This is a big move for Buffalo, and a signing that goes against the character of their organization. T.O. is an incredible talent, no one will deny that, and for one year the aging Owens could certainly produce and improve the Bills lackluster offense.
This signing should also have a tremendous effect on Lee Evans, who has breakout speed and talent but has underachieved at this point in his young career. With Owens drawing defenders to his side of the field, Evans won't see too many double teams anymore.
