This afternoon the Jets signed for 49er's corner back Donald Strickland to a 3-year contract.Strickland, a six-year veteran who spent the last three seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, played in 13 games last season, recording 23 tackles with five passes defensed. For his career, he has 115 tackles, two interceptions and 16 passes defensed.
Strickland is 28 years old, and is coming from San Francisco where he played as a nickel/dime corner, and special teamer.He is expected to do the same in New York.
